I’m Lucie and I’m a Reportage Wedding Photographer in the beautiful Cotswold town of Cirencester, but I shoot weddings all over the UK.
I live in a little (bursting at the seams) house with my husband, two children, a crazy dog named Rufus and my car, Mavis (Yup, she's part of the family!) We've been married for six years, and our wedding photographer was utterly rubbish! I split coffee all down my wedding dress, ate far too much cake (that I stupidly baked myself....) oh! And it rained all day. Literally all day long. But we still had the best day surrounded by all the people we love. My kids hate having their photos taken and I'm rubbish at selfies, kind of ironic right?
My favourite things in the world are laughing out loud and dancing like an idiot, and when I’m not shooting weddings you’ll find me cuddled up on the sofa with a cup of tea in my hand snuggling the kids and eating all the wrong food groups while singing badly.
I couldn’t live without tea, (loud) music and my friends and family. I spend a lot of time planning future adventures, watching live music or just chilling in the pub with something cold to drink. Nothing makes me happier than meeting new people, I'm a pretty sociable bee.
My love of people watching is what got me into wedding photography, I could sit on a bench all day long just watching the world go around. I’ve been a wedding photographer for 4 incredible years and I absolutely frigging love it. The best thing about being a wedding photographer is that I get to eat the most delicious cake and watch people having a great time while I snap away into the night. It also completely one hundred percently works around being a mum too, I get the absolute best of both worlds.
My couples just want to have a good time, and the last thing they want is a photographer who makes them pose all day and is super cheesy .. insert my own wedding photographs here...
My wedding photography style is happy, colorful, laid back and FUN. I capture all the wonderful laugh out loud moments while you get on with having an awesome day. For me the bit I love the most about a wedding day is the speeches, because I love a good laugh (and sometimes a cry!). OH! And the dancing because everyones a bit tipsy and has forgotten about my cameras and I'm just part of the gang.
Your wedding is all about having a great party. You don’t care about ugly chair covers or fancy limos – you just want to eat, drink and be merry with your favourite people.
If this sounds like you, and you reckon we’d get on then get in touch!
